Language Arts (English)
An emphasis is placed on speaking skills, listening, spelling, reading, fluency, comprehension, grammar, creative writing, and the use of references.
Lessons are conducted daily to learn the sounds, blends, reading, stories, songs, mathematics, and writing of the Kurdish language.
Concrete materials are used from the preschool years to introduce and reinforce concepts for operations that include: counting, decimal system, arithmetic operations, geometry, squaring, cubing, prime factors, measurement, time, fractions, and higher level skills.
Students learn about the Earth and link physical, social, economic, and human geography to explore their own cultures, diversity around the world, and previous civilizations.

Practical Life activities help children learn how to care for themselves and their environment. These activities help children become more independent and lead to increased self-confidence. Care of the indoor and outdoor environment, grace and courtesy, and field trip etiquette are all explored.
Lower elementary science includes the study of botany, earth science, chemistry, physics, and principles of scientific processes.
The use of sensory materials allow children to express and classify their sensory experiences. Areas include visual, touch, smell, taste, hearing, and movement.

Art allows students to explore fine motor skills, color, and their imagination. Lessons include learning about great artists, glue, cutting with scissors, markers, crayons, and paint.
